9Troubleshooting
This chapter provides information for troubleshooting possible problems in the HP SFS system. (For
information on troubleshooting problems on client nodes, refer to the HP StorageWorks Scalable File Share
Client Installation and User Guide.) The topics covered in this chapter include the following:
• Server fails to boot during installation (Section 9.1)
• Server fails to boot (Section 9.2)
• Server stops responding (Section 9.3)
• Server fails to mount administration LUN — EXT3-fs error (Section 9.4)
• Benign message displayed by the configure system command (Section 9.5)
• The configure server command fails because static routes are incorrectly configured (Section 9.6)
• Server with Quadrics interconnect may fail to boot (Section 9.7)
• The scan mac command fails (Section 9.8)
• Setting Lustre debug level (Section 9.9)
• System database has become corrupted (Section 9.10)
• Service LUN has become corrupted (Section 9.11)
