
HP Command View SVSP GUI
For best maintenance performance, open the HP Command View SVSP GUI on a daily basis and
look for changes to the objects status. Object status should be Normal (for logical objects like volumes
or pools) or Present (for physical devices like disk drives or HBAs). Figure 17 shows statuses in which
the logical objects have a status of Normal and the physical devices have a status of Present.
Alternatively, you can use a Search to check for statuses that are not normal or not present.

Performing an object search
Any status other than Normal or Present is an indication of a problem with the object.
One way to look for object status is by browsing the GUI pages looking for any nonstandard status.
However, HP Command View SVSP is a more quick and efficient way to search by using the predefined
search tool called Searches.
To perform a search:
1. In the navigation pane, click Searches.
2. Select All or a particular object.
3. Click the Search for command button, and then select All Needing Attention.
