Or, assume that you would like all of the machines to participate in single sign-on. You could make

any four of the five machines members of another machine's Management Group, or you could create

a new Management Group and make the five machines members of the new group, as shown below.

Reorganized into one Management Group

Management Groups are created when:

• When a Management Infrastructure capable application is initially installed on a server. For ex-

ample, when server-based HP Command View EVA is installed.

• When certain HP products are manufactured. For example, HP EVA storage systems with array-

based HP Command View EVA, or HP Command View SVSP.

• When you use the security interface to create a new group. See “Creating a Management

Group” on page 69.

General guidelines

A Management Group must have:

• At least one machine with Management Infrastructure software as a member.

• At least one OS security domain designated as an authenticator.
