Storage Devices
This chapter describes the procedures for handling, addressing,
identifying, and replacing disk drive SBBs (see Figure 7–1) in an
UltraSCSI RAID enclosure. Error conditions and the associated LED
displays are also described.
Figure 7–1 Typical Disk Drive SBB
Caution
The Compaq UltraSCSI RAID enclosure supports 3.5-inch
disk drive SBBs. This enclosure does not support tape
drives, solid state disks, optical disk drives, CD-ROMs, or
5.25-inch devices.
For a list of supported devices, refer to the operating
system-specific release notes.
