This diagnostic item provides you with a more thorough method of testing memory and peripheral

hardware.

5.13.3 Making a code tape

The firmware for the SCSI bridge electronics can be copied to another unit by making a code

tape. Configuration settings are not carried across in this tape. They must be entered

manually. You are prompted to insert a scratch tape. During operation, the Performance

display appears using 64k transfers. Upon successful completion, the tape unloads and you

return to the menu system.
