Syntax

optionU[compress|nocompress]U[ask|clear|noclear]

Description

The option subcommand speciﬁes the following:

• whether to compress monitoring data in ZIP ﬁles

• whether to overwrite or delete existing ﬁles and directories when saving monitoring data in ﬁles

Operands

The two operands below specify whether to compress CSV ﬁles into ZIP ﬁles. If none of these operands is

speciﬁed, compress is assumed:

compress

Compresses data in ZIP ﬁles. To extract CSV ﬁles out of a ZIP ﬁle, you will need to

decompress the ZIP ﬁle.

nocompress

Does not compress data in ZIP ﬁles and saves data in CSV ﬁles.

The three operands below specify whether to overwrite or delete an existing ﬁle or directory when the

Export Tool saves ﬁles. If none of these operands is speciﬁed, ask is assumed:

ask

Displays a message that asks whether to delete existing ﬁles or directories.

clear

Deletes existing ﬁles and directories and then saves monitoring data in ﬁles.

noclear

Overwrites existing ﬁles and directories.

Example

The following example saves monitoring data in CSV ﬁles, not in ZIP ﬁles:

The apply subcommand saves monitoring data speciﬁed by the group subcommand into ﬁles.

The login subcommand must executebeforethe apply subcommand executes.

The apply subcommand does nothing if the group subcommand executes.
