Create Query

Use this section to create key queries. A key query enables you to view a subset of the keys that exist on

theSKM.Thisse

ction enables you to create very speciﬁc queries using multiple and/or statements and

using the resul

ts of other saved queries. You can also tailor your query to show speciﬁccolumns.

Component Description

Query Name

The name of the query. This ﬁeld is only required when saving the query. You can

run a query without saving, but you can only save a query before running it.

Description

A description of the query.

Columns Shown Select the columns to be included in the query results.

Save and Run Query Click Save and Run Query to save and then execute the query.

Save Quer

Click Save Query to save the query without executing it.

Run Query without

Saving

Click Run Query without Saving to execute the query. The query name will appear on

the results page as Unnamed Query. You can navigate away from the Keys section

and still reapply the Unnamed Query, however, the Management Console will only

stored one Unnamed Query at a time. Old unnamed queries are forgotten.

Use this section to modify, delete, and run saved queries. The Management Console is delivered with one

built-in query, which you can modify. Use the Create Query section to create others.
