1. Select a VM in a suspended state.

2. Select Tools→Resume Virtual Machine. The Resume Virtual Machine screen is displayed, as

shown in Figure 65.

3. The Command Preview area shows the commands that Integrity VM performs to resume the

VM.

Click OK. The VM is resumed and the Virtual Servers tab is displayed. The status turns On in

the OS column against the selected VM.

Moving suspend files

When a VM is suspended, the suspend files are saved at a default location:/var/opt/hpvm/

guests. Suspend files can be very large, up to the size of guest memory for each suspended

guest. HP recommends moving the files to another directory.

The hpvmmove_suspend command can be used to change the directory, where suspend files

are stored and to move all existing suspend files to a new directory. If there is insufficient space

in /var to accommodate the suspend files, hpvmmove_suspend command can be used to move

them to a larger disk.
