The setting for Redundant SAN paths to disk depends on how you configured your logical

server storage pool entries. At least one matching storage pool entry is required for each

service provisioned. Those entries may or may not be fully configured with redundant paths.

8. Optionally, create shared data storage by dragging another physical storage component and

connecting it to the ESX cluster component. Check the Disk is shared across servers checkbox.

Do not check the Disk is bootable checkbox. The specified storage name is used as the datastore

name.

9. Finish by editing the Network or Trunk component. Right-click the component and select the

Config tab.

An architect creating a template in infrastructure orchestration designer can select a trunk

network to connect to the ESX VM Host or cluster. Within a trunk, the architect can select the

networks that should be available as VLANs to that server NIC.

The network component can contain a single network. Selecting multiple networks represents

a trunk to the blade. This trunk is either a network trunk tunneled through VC, or a collection
