Overview of the Installation Process
The installation process of Library Media Manager (LMM) consists of:
•
Installing the LMM software
•
Transferring files via FTP
•
Configuring the LMM server and the LMM GUI to establish communication
between the selected NonStop system and the tape library
The tape drives can be configured with a NonStop system. In the CTL700 tape library,
the maximum number of 5259 tape drives that can be configured using Library Media
Manager is 20. The maximum number of CT9840-1/CT9840FC-1 tape drives is 12.
