Discovering hosts

Once you navigate to a particular host, you can provide necessary credentials needed to

communicate with the host and acquire data. This is done via the Discovery Wizard. To initiate

discovery for a host:

1. Click the HP OneView tab.

2. Click the Tools icon on the Actions toolbar to display the Tools menu.

3. Select Discovery. The Discovery Wizard dialog box is displayed:

NOTE: Installing Single Sign-On certificates requires Administrator access to the target

devices. If you do not want to use Administrator-level access or if the target device has no free

Single Sign-On slots, clear this checkbox.

4. Enter the hostname or IP address and your credentials for the associated iLO, Onboard

Administrator and Virtual Connect module you want to discover. Click OK.
