3. Remove the four Phillips M1.5×2.7 screws (2) that secure the display panel assembly to the back cover.

4. Place the slate on a flat surface with the display panel facing up and the power button toward you.

5. Insert a case utility tool (1) or similar plastic, flat-edged tool between the back cover and the display

panel assembly.

6. Release the display panel assembly front edge (2) from the back cover until it rests at an angle.

7. Release the display panel assembly right edge (3) from the back cover until it rests at an angle.
