Installing a hard drive

To install a hard drive:

1. Lower the hard drive (1) into the hard drive bay until it is seated (2).

2. Replace the 4 screws (2) to secure the hard drive.

3. Replace the service door (see Replacing the service door on page 44).

4. Replace the battery (see

Inserting or removing the battery on page 36).

5. Turn the computer right-side up, and then reconnect AC power and external devices to the

computer.

6. Turn on the computer.
